Rotoscoping
Rotoscoping is a method of animation that involves drawing over each frame of a video reference to create a smooth 2D animation. It is used for animations such as Disney's 2D films. For my attempt I used footage from the film WALL-E.

The method I used for rotoscoping was Adobe Photoshop's animation features. The software has an in built 2D animation timeline that I had used previously with my bouncing ball animation. The rotoscope had to be 3 seconds long, and each frame had to be drawn over individually, which took a very long time.
